Localization Intern

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and creative Localization Intern who has a passion for languages, cultural adaptation, and delivering high-quality multilingual experiences to support our international streaming services.

Who Are We Looking For?

• A motivated MBO or HBO student studying Translation, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field, currently in the second or third year of your program.
• Proficient in English and at least one other language (Dutch is a plus).
• Detail-oriented and solution-oriented, with a keen eye for language consistency.
• Interested in cultural adaptation and the nuances of localization.
• Not afraid to ask questions and share your ideas with the team.
• Passionate about films and series.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the localization process for international streaming platforms.
• Translating and editing content such as subtitles, marketing materials, and user interface text.
• Conducting quality checks on localized content to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of translation memories and glossaries.
• Contributing ideas to improve the localization process and user experience for global audiences.
